Tatare Tunnels
Franz Josef township, New Zealand
Having fun with my headlamp in the Tatare tunnel above Franz Josef. If you squint you can just make out some glowworms near the top center of the image. The tunnel was built to move water to the township for gold mining then later a hotel in the area. Water still flows through the tunnel and at times is ankle deep.
