Two years ago, on my trip to Europe with my two best friends, we made it our mission to climb as many tall buildings as possible. In one week’s time we climbed the Eiffel Tower, the Cologne cathedral, and the Ulm Minster.
The Ulm Minster is the tallest church in the world, standing an astounding 530 feet tall. That is so tall, that it was actually the tallest building in the world until 1901!
You can climb the 768 stairs to the top for a view over the entire city and the surrounding countryside. Looking straight down is also impressive as people appear as tiny dots. Even fulling zooming in with my camera, as I did in today’s Featured Photo, people still appear the size of ants.
