A large grey backpack with external straps and a smaller black bag are placed on a wooden floor, next to a pair of grey-orange sneakers, indoors.
What's in my bag?
Everything I own fits in here!

As I’ve been preparing for my big trip, what is on my packing list has probably caused the most amount of stress. Reducing my life to that of a 46 liter backpack and a small daybag is a complicated task. Here is what’s in my bag – every last item I’m taking around the world, along with some fun videos demonstrating how I fit it all into my pack.

Bags

Osprey Porter 46 – A great all around pack that has gotten me through two tours of Europe. It is small enough to qualify as a carry-on even with the strictest of airlines.

Timbuk2 Espionage Camera Backpack – This is my camera/computer daypack. It is made by a great company that I’ve used for many years and is also the current bag of choice for award-winning travel photographer Gary Arndt.

  2. Hi Logan! Great tips you have for us. It is not to know those tips and list especially in having trouble in packing! Oh! Which one is better to bring, a water bag or water bottle for hiking?
